Mitchum Ties for Seventh at CAA Championships

SWAINTON, New Jersey – UNCW's Gray Mitchum authored a one-under-par 71 score in Tuesday's final round to close out the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association Men's Golf Championship tied for seventh place at the Union League National Golf Course.

The Seahawks posted a 294-team score in the third round to climb two spots to finish fifth of 11 teams. UNCW (301-306-294=901) shaved 12 strokes off its score from the second to third rounds.

Elon earned its first CAA Championship in a sudden-death playoff against Drexel, winning with an aggregated score of 16 to 18.

Campbell's Henric Bjelke captured the CAA Individual Championship by an impressive five strokes ahead of the Dragons' Griffin Mitchell.

UNCW totaled 33 birdies throughout the three-day tournament and shot for par on a tournament-best 159 holes, led by John Logan's tournament-high 37 holes of par.
