Mitchum Climbs Individual Leaderboard Following Second Round

SWAINTON, New Jersey – Junior Gray Mitchum scored a one-over-par 73 in the second round to hold a share of 12th place through 36 holes of the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association Men's Golf Championships at the Union League Golf Club on Monday.

Mitchum (76-73=149) climbed nine spots on the individual leaderboard and shaved three strokes off his tournament score with four birdies on Monday. Junior James Rico authored a team-high five birdies in the second round to enter the final round tied for 17th place.

Campbell concluded Day 2 in first place, one stroke ahead of second-place Drexel, who jumped up the team leaderboard with a five-under team score in the second round.

UNCW (301-306=607) holds seventh place entering Tuesday.

The CAA Championship concludes on Tuesday with the third and final round. Tee times will be available on Clippd later tonight.
