GREENVILLE, N.C. – UNCW men's and women's cross country combined to set 10 personal records at the Dill Family Foundation Invitational hosted by East Carolina at Overton's Lake Kristi on Friday morning.
The women's team finished fourth with 102 points, while the men's team placed seventh with 156 points.
"Extremely happy with the complete efforts from beginning to end today for both the men's and women's programs," head coach Jeff Klaves said. "Both teams are trending in the right direction as we transition to the championship segment of our season."

All eight racers for the women's team set new personal records in the 6K. Freshman Demi Nicholas led the way for the women's team, running 23 minutes, 12.07 seconds to finish 19th.
Chandler Coughlin, a senior, ran 23:36.20 to place 22nd, and junior Claire Carmichael rounded out the top 25, running 23:47.47.
Griffin Wald, a junior, paced the men's team in the 8K, running a career-best time of 25:04.14Â to finish 17th. Senior Taylor Anthony finished 32nd, running 25:48.89, and freshman Cooper Kovach took 43rd with a time of 25:57.94.
The Seahawks will head to Lakewood, N.J., for the CAA Cross Country Championships on Friday, Oct. 31.
