Falck Wins First Professional Doubles Title

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW men's tennis alumnus Reece Falck won the first professional doubles title of his career, capturing the M15 Heraklion doubles title on the International Tennis Federation circuit in Heraklion, Greece on Oct. 13.

Falck, a native of Christchurch, New Zealand, and doubles partner Maxwell Benson of the United States went a perfect 4-0 en route to their first title as a team.

The duo defeated Henry Lieberman (USA) and Luca Staeheli (Switzerland) 6-3, 6-4 in the finals and only dropped one set during the entire tournament.

"We are very proud of Reece and him playing as a full-time professional," head coach Mait DuBois said. "To win his first future title is a huge accomplishment, and I know he has a lot more success coming in his future."

A three-time All-CAA doubles selection, Falck joined the Seahawks as a sophomore and helped UNCW capture three CAA championships (2022-24). He is tied for 15th in program history with 41 doubles victories.
