CARY, N.C. – UNCW men's tennis sent two doubles teams into the round of 32 at the 2025 International Tennis Association Regionals on Friday at Cary Tennis Park.
Alex de Gabriele and Jordi Domenech earned an 8-3 victory against Mathieu Dussaubat and Kaua Santos (North Carolina A&T).Â
Martin Mazev and Lukas Steffen also punched their ticket to the round of 32 with an 8-3 decision against Jack Dixon and Christopher Norlin (Coastal Carolina).
In the main draw for singles, de Gabriele earned a come-from-behind 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory against Santos in the round of 64.
The Seahawks are back in action on Saturday for more doubles play.
