WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW men's basketball returns to the road on Thursday when it travels to the Lowcountry for the first of two meetings this season with rival Charleston at TD Arena at 7 p.m.

SERIES INFO
Thursday is the 39th all-time meeting between the two schools. Seven of the last eight games in the series have been decided by single digits. The winner of the first meeting has gone on to sweep the season series in every year the two schools have played dating back to 2018.

LAST TIME OUT
Bo Montgomery's career-high 24 points paced four Seahawks in double figures in a Monday matinee win over the CAA's last unbeaten team, William & Mary.

The Seahawks shot a season-high against a Division I opponent (50 percent) and tallied 16 assists in the win.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Charleston carries a three-way share of first place into Thursday and has won seven of their last eight games. The Cougars boast four players in double figures paced by Preseason Player of the Year Ante Brzovic's 18.5 ppg.

ON THE DOCKET
UNCW hosts Hampton on Saturday at 7 p.m. The 2024 CAA Champion UNCW softball team will be recognized at halftime.
