CAA Names Engh Rookie of the Week

WILMINGTON, North Carolina - UNCW goalkeeper Viktor Engh has been named the Coastal Athletic Association Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week following his first career shutout last Friday.

Engh totaled nine saves in the Seahawks' 1-0 victory against American. The Billingstad, Norway product currently leads all CAA first-year netminders with 13 saves and is third overall amongst league goalkeepers in 2024.

Engh is the first true freshman to start in net for UNCW since Gabriel Perrotta in 2019.

The Seahawks (1-0-1) host South Florida on Monday at 7 p.m. at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.
