Fobes Collects Fourth Straight All-CAA First-Team Honor

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW women's golfer Mallory Fobes has captured her fourth straight All-Coastal Athletic Association First-Team honor as voted on by the league's coaches.

Fobes further cemented herself as one of the best Seahawk golfers in program history with an outstanding final season that culminated with a third-place finish at the CAA Championships last month.

The East Bend, N.C., native is the school's first four-time All-CAA First-Teamer and joins Michelle Jarman and Carmen Perez-Narbon as the only UNCW golfers to make four All-Conference teams in their collegiate careers.

Fobes authored a school single-season best 72.89 scoring average across nine tournaments and 27 rounds in 2023-24. The fifth-year earned three top-10 finishes this season, highlighted by a win at the 2023 Golfweek Fall Challenge last September.

A durable golfer, Fobes is tied for third on UNCW's all-time leaderboard with 117 rounds played. Her 73.85 career scoring average is tops among all Seahawks.

Fobes became the fifth player in UNCW history to earn individual entry to an NCAA Regional last year when she competed at the NCAA Raleigh Regional.
