Women's Golf Concludes Tar Heel Invitational

CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina – The UNCW women's golf team closed out play at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational in 11th place at North Carolina's Finley Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.

The Seahawks carded a 298-293-305=896 score in their penultimate fall tournament before hosting the Landfall Tradition next weekend.

Auburn claimed the team title by 15 strokes ahead of runner-up Duke. The Tigers' Anna Davis edged Emily Mathews of Virginia Tech by three strokes.

UNCW's Hannah Altman paced the Seahawks with a share of 26th place, highlighted by an even-par 70 score in Saturday's second round.
