Huens Honored By CAA As Player of the Week

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW junior Harold Huens was named Player of the Week by the Coastal Athletic Association following another strong week on the court.

Huens went 2-0 at No. 1 singles last week as UNCW handed No. 48 Delaware (4-1) its first loss of the season and followed with a 4-0 CAA triumph over Drexel. The junior topped Delaware's Karol Malirz, 6-4, 6-1, and rolled past Drexel's Alan Jesudason, 6-2, 6-1. Huens is on a four-match winning streak and is 7-4 overall this season.

Huens joins teammates Gabe Hurtado and Reece Falck as CAA honors award winners this season.

The Seahawks host CAA rival Campbell on Apr. 5 at 2 p.m. and then welcome South Carolina State to the UNCW Tennis Complex on April 7 for a 1 p.m. start on Senior Day.
