Seahawks Close Out Play at Clemson Invitational

SUNSET, South Carolina – The UNCW women's golf team closed out play at the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee on Sunday.

The Seahawks competed amongst 15 other teams in their final tune-up ahead of the 2024 Coastal Athletic Association Championships in mid-April.

Junior Malu Brinker paced the Seahawks with a 74-73-75=222 scorecard to finish tied for 48th place. UNCW recorded a 304-291-300=895 mark to finish 16th.

Vanderbilt (280-281-291=852) won the tournament by six strokes ahead of Texas A&M. LSU's Ingrid Lindblad, the nation's top-ranked player, captured individual medalist honors with a 66-67-65=198 mark.
