Walker Posts Fifth Top-10 Finish

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Walker Isley led UNCW with an eighth-place finish on Wednesday at the General Hackler, hosted by Coastal Carolina, at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.

Louisville swept the tournament titles with the Cardinals fashioning a five-stroke win over runner-up Coastal Carolina. Max Kennedy earned medalist honors by edging Chattanooga's John Houk by a stroke.

The Seahawks placed 12th.

Isley, who played par-4's at 2-under (3.93), opened the tournament with a first-round 67 but scuffled in the second round with a 77. He closed out the tournament in strong fashion, posting a one-under-par 71.

For Isley, it was his fifth top-10 finish of the year and his first in the spring.

The Seahawks host the Seahawk Intercollegiate on Mar. 24-25 at the Country Club of Landfall.
