Men's Golf Ties For Third At Tiger Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. – Led by senior Walker Isley, UNCW posted its best finish of the spring with a third-place showing on Tuesday at the Tiger Invitational.

Host Auburn posted a 15-stroke win over runner-up Florida Gulf Coast. J.M. Butler earned medalist honors by a stroke over teammate Jackson Koivun. Brendan Valdes completed a sweep of the top three spots in the standings for Auburn.

Isley finished tied for 10th overall and freshman Luis de Minon fashioned the top finish of this rookie season, placing 18th while competing as an individual.

UNCW returns to action Mar. 18 in Conway, S.C., at the General Hackler.
