MBB Preview: Drexel

Trask Coliseum will be the site of a pivotal game in the CAA standings Thursday

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks (16-6) welcome Coastal Athletic Association leader Drexel (15-8) to Trask Coliseum on Thursday at 7 p.m. in a pivotal game in the conference standings.

The Dragons, who carry an 8-2 record into Thursday, hold a one-game lead over the Seahawks, who are tied for second with Charleston and Towson at 7-3. Drexel knocked off the Seahawks in January, 78-63, at the Daskalakis Center.

UNCW won its last outings having knocked off rivals College of Charleston and Campbell last week.

Thursday begins a stretch for the Seahawks that sees them play five of their final eight games of the regular season at Trask Coliseum. UNCW also has posted sellouts in each of its four home conference games this season.
