Fobes Resets Career Low at Westbrook Invitational

PEORIA, Arizona – UNCW's Mallory Fobes posted a career-low 68-69-68=205 at the Westbrook Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin to finish the two-day event tied for sixth on Monday at the Westbrook Village Golf Club.

Fobes was one of nine golfers in the 77-player individual field to author at least 16 birdies. The fifth-year's previous three-round low was a 207-scoring mark set at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Sept. 2022.

Kansas claimed the event by six strokes over Oklahoma while the host Badgers rounded out the top-three. The Seahawks (287-285-289=861) finished 14th in the field.

Fobes shared sixth with five other golfers and was three strokes behind the individual medalist, Wisconsin's Chloe Chan.

UNCW now turns its attention to hosting the River Landing Classic from Mar. 4-5 in Wallace, N.C.
