Simpson Posts UNCW's Top Finish Of The Day

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Brooke Simpson finished eighth in the 100 Breaststroke finals on Saturday at the Cavalier Invitational at the UVA Swimming and Fitness Center.

Simpson posted UNCW's top finish of the day when she posted a time of 1:06.17 in the 100 Breaststroke.

John Prucha finished 10th in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 49.65 seconds in the finals. He advanced to the finals after fashioning a career-best time of 49.60 in the prelims.

In a 50 Free time trial, Cassidy Lima recorded UNCW's third-fastest time of the season after clocking in at 23.59.

The meet concludes on Sunday beginning with the prelims at 10 a.m.
