Defending CAA Champs Announce 2025 Schedule

Seahawks open with Georgia and Quinnipiac at home Feb. 14-16

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The two-time defending Coastal Athletic Association champions UNCW Seahawks are set to play 16 games against programs that reached the 2024 NCAA Regionals, including six at Brooks Field, in the upcoming 2025 season.

The Seahawks will play 29 home games this spring and open with Quinnipiac and Georgia at Brooks Field on Feb. 14-16. The Seahawks and Georgia faced off last spring in the winner's bracket game of the Athens Regional. The Bulldogs will be making their first appearance at Brooks Field that weekend.

In addition to the Bulldogs, the Seahawks also play home-and-home series with NCAA College World Series participants NC State and North Carolina.

Another highlight on the schedule is a three-game series against East Carolina, with the third game being played at Segra Stadium in Fayetteville, N.C. Last season the Seahawks defeated nationally-ranked Wake Forest, 8-5, at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

The Seahawks also play regional rival Coastal Carolina in a home-and-home series.

UNCW will visit the Deep South for games at Louisiana Lafayette (one) and Southern Miss (three-game series). Lafayette was the Sun Belt Conference regular season champion while USM earned the league's automatic bid by winning the conference tournament.

In conference play, UNCW hosts Monmouth, North Carolina A&T, William & Mary and Stony Brook. Campbell, Hofstra, Towson, Charleston and Elon are road series.
