UNCW Seahawk Club Adds New Staffer

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW Seahawk Club has announced the addition of Logan Martinez as assistant director of development operations with the school's athletics fund-raising organization.

A native of Chesapeake, Va., Martinez has spent the last six years working for the Flames Club at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. He will assist with the Seahawk Club's annual fund, daily operations and gift processing. Martinez will also work closely with active and prospective Seahawk Club members.
"We're thrilled to have Logan on our staff and are excited about the experience he brings to our team," said Adam Fearing, the Seahawk Club's executive director. "We know he'll make an immediate impact for our student-athletes and Seahawk Club members."
Martinez was part of a team at Liberty that helped the Flames Club grow from 1,000+ members to more than 5,000 members in just five years.

"UNCW is a special place that offers a lot of opportunities for our student-athletes to become successful," said Martinez. "I am grateful and excited to help promote the Seahawk Club across the community and with alumni."

Martinez held five different positions with the Flames Club, most recently as associate director of membership services. He oversaw donor processing and account management as well as managed football suite contracts, invoices and trade agreements for the Flames. He was also involved in donor event coordination and management.
