Baseball Preview: at Hofstra

Series opens Friday with doubleheader

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – With inclement weather in the region, UNCW's Colonial Athletic Association series at Hofstra has been moved to a doubleheader on Friday and a single game on Sunday.

Friday's twinbill begins at 11:30 a.m. with game two following about 45 min following the completion of game one. There will not be a game on Saturday and the series concludes with a noon start on Sunday.

The Seahawks enter the weekend leading the conference with a 13-4 record following a three-game home sweep of Delaware last weekend. The Pride, meanwhile, own a 9-12 record in the league and was swept at Northeastern last weekend.

UNCW dropped a midweek game at North Carolina on Tuesday to move to 24-15 on the season. Hofstra earned a pair of road wins during midweek play against LIU and Manhattan to raise its overall record to 19-22.

All three games will be streamed on FloBaseball. However, there will not be a radio stream for any of the games.
