Women's Soccer Inks Mollerup for 2023

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW women's soccer team has added midfielder/defender Nora Mollerup to the program ahead of the 2023 season.

Mollerup will come to the North Carolina coast from Bergen, Norway.

"We are very excited to welcome Nora to the squad," said UNCW Head Coach Chris Neal. "She is an experienced midfielder that we feel will complement our existing midfielders well. Nora is a versatile player which is always a great luxury to have on the roster."

The midfielder/defender split the 2022 season playing for Fyllingsdalen 2. She appeared in 26 games and scored three goals while helping the team earn a promotion to the Norwegian First Division.

Mollerup will become the first Norwegian to play for the Seahawks in program history. An incoming freshman, she plans to major in Psychology.
