Baseball Preview: East Carolina

The Pirates and Seahawks meet for the 143rd time

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW (9-7) and East Carolina (12-3) continue their longtime series on Tuesday at Brooks Field with the first pitch set for 6 p.m.

The game will be streamed on FloBaseball.tv and 95.9FM The Breeze will air the game locally in Wilmington as well as stream that broadcast on the web. Links to all streaming are listed on the right.

Both teams have been playing well lately with the Seahawks winning five of its last six outings while the Pirates, who are ranked as high as 10th, have won six straight.

The two programs have met 142 times since the first meeting in 1965 when they split a home-and-home series, each winning on its home field.

The Seahawks visit Towson this weekend in their first Colonial Athletic Association road series of the season.
