Women's Soccer Sets Spring Schedule

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW women's soccer team is set to embark on a five-game slate against regional opponents this spring.

The Seahawks will play three friendlies at UNCW Soccer Stadium while bookending the spring schedule with a pair of road matches.

"We are excited for the spring season. The weather has been wonderful for training outdoors," said Head Coach Chris Neal, who enters his fifth spring with UNCW. "We are truly lucky with our location in that respect.

"We have a lot of individual and team goals that we are working toward. Many of our players will get their first chance to play extended minutes, and I'm excited to see them make the most of this opportunity."

The 2023 spring season commences with UNCW making the short road trip to UNC-Pembroke on Monday, Mar. 20.

The Seahawks then return to the Port City to launch a three-game homestand with a visit from the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Mar. 25.

UNCW continues the home slate vs. in-state opponent Campbell on Thursday, Mar. 30, followed by a contest against Southeastern Conference foe South Carolina on Sunday, Apr. 2.

An afternoon trip to Mount Olive on Sunday, Apr. 16, closes out the spring season for the Seahawks.

Parking and admission to all three spring games at UNCW Soccer Stadium is free.
