Bowden Adds Worch To Men's Golf Roster

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW head men's golf coach Daniel Bowden has announced the addition of Preston Worch to the program beginning with the spring semester.

Worch, who made his collegiate debut for Greensboro College in the fall, is the 10th-ranked freshman at the NCAA Division III level according to Spikemark. During his fall season with the Pride, Worch posted a pair of top-10 finishes, including a second-place finish at the Transylvania Invitational. He finished nine-under for the tournament.

Worch was named USA South Conference Rookie of the Week in consecutive weeks in October.

The Seahawks open the spring portion of their season on Feb. 5 at the Battle at Briar's Creek on Johns Island, SC.
