WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW men's soccer midfielder Pep Casas has earned United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Atlantic Region Second Team honors announced Tuesday.

Casas was previously named to the All-Coastal Athletic Association Second Team in early November. The Barcelona, Spain, native scored two goals and contributed an assist across 16 games, including 15 starts, in 2023.

The 5-10 senior scored his first goal of the season and added an assist in the Seahawks' 4-0 home route over rival Campbell in late September then followed it up with a penalty kick score at Stony Brook one week later.

The Indiana Tech transfer has been a mainstay in the Seahawk midfield over the previous two seasons, appearing in every possible game (33) while making 30 starts.

UNCW has had a USC All-Region performer in three of the previous four seasons.
