Adam, Fobes Lead Seahawks at Landfall

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW senior Nicole Adam posted a round-high seven birdies to hold a share of 17th place, along with teammate Mallory Fobes, following the first round of the Landfall Tradition on a sunny Friday at the Country Club of Landfall's Pete Dye Course.

Michigan State (279) leads the 18-team field by five strokes ahead of UCF. Furman's Anna Morgan and Penn State's Michelle Cox each fired a five-under 67 to pace the 96-player individual leaderboard.

UNCW (299) is tied with East Carolina for 16th place.

Both Adam and Fobes each shot one-under par to front the Seahawks.

The second round will tee off on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Admission and parking are free throughout the weekend.
