Volleyhawks Knocked Off In Three By Towson

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Towson finished off a sweep of its Coastal Athletic Association weekend on Sunday with a straight set win over UNCW (25-19, 25-23, 25-15) at Hanover Hall.

The Tigers raised their record to 15-5 overall and lead the CAA with an 8-2 mark. UNCW slipped to 8-12 and saw its record even at 5-5 in the league.

Nina Cajic collected 13 kills in 23 attacks for Towson, which hit a lofty .345 on the day. Victoria Barrett added 12 kills.

Alex Brezeault had nine kills for UNCW.

UNCW visits Hampton on Oct. 21-22 for a pair of conference matches.
