Men's Tennis Goes 7-2 On Sunday

ATHENS, Ga. – UNCW closed out its appearance at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships with a 7-2 mark on Sunday.

Four of those wins came against Vanderbilt, Georgia State, Georgia Tech and Clemson.

In doubles, Reese Falck and Jonathan Baron teamed to beat Clemson, 8-6. Jordi Domenech and Broadstreet posted an 8-6 win over host Georgia.

On Friday, Jordi Domenich and Juan Jose Vargas earned wins in the Black and Silver draws, respectively. Domenich knocked off third-seeded Maxwell Weir of Georgia State, 6-1 and 6-4. Vargas, meanwhile, topped Georgia's Parker Jacques, 6-3 and 6-1.

UNCW returns to action on Oct. 20-24 at the ITA Fall Regional in Cary, N.C.
