Seahawks Welcome Methodist, Coastal

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The UNCW women's tennis team looks to build on its three-match winning streak with a pair of home matches this weekend against regional rivals.

The Seahawks, 4-1, have reeled off consecutive victories over N.C. Central, Gardner-Webb and East Carolina and take on Methodist on Friday (Mar. 4) and Coastal Carolina on Saturday (Mar. 5) at the UNCW Courts.

First toss times are 3 p.m. for Friday's match with the Monarchs (1-3) and 10 a.m. for Saturday's clash with the Chanticleers (4-4).

"It's exciting for our team each time we play at home," said UNCW Head Coach Hans Olsen. "We've had great crowds and great support so far this season. Our team still needs to be prepared for the challenges against Methodist and Coastal."
