WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW women's tennis earned the No. 4 seed in the Coastal Athletic Association tournament, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Led by interim head coach John Ware, the Seahawks (10-5, 5-2 CAA) enter the postseason following a 5-2 loss at Charleston on April 11 and will look to capture the second CAA title in program history and first since 2014.
Senior Eda Arli earned CAA honors this season after a 3-0 week on March 17. She holds a 6-2 singles record.
The Seahawks will begin postseason play in the quarterfinals on Friday, April 17, at 3 p.m. at the Mackesy Tennis Center in Williamsburg, Va., hosted by William & Mary.
