WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW and Kennesaw State will play a doubleheader on Sunday with game one set for a noon start at Brooks Field. The second game will begin 45 min. following the completion of game 1.
The Seahawks dropped the series opener, 4-3, on Friday at KSU struck for a run in the top of the eighth. The Owls' win tied the brief all-time series at 2-all.
UNCW's
Ethan Baucom had three hits, including his third home run of the season. It came in the bottom of the sixth and drew the Seahawks even at 3-all. The round-tripper was also the 55th of his career. Baucom is the NCAA's active career leader in home runs, runs, runs batted in and total bases.
