Falck Reaches Doubles Finals In ITF Event

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – New Zealander Reece Falck of the UNCW men's tennis team continues to play well over the holiday break during competitive matches in his home country.
 
Falck, who recently advanced to the semifinals of the International Tennis Federation's Futures doubles event in Wellington, made the doubles finals of the ITF Futures M15 event in Tauranga on the north island of New Zealand. Falck has compiled a 5-2 record over the last two weeks.
 
A native of Christchurch, New Zealand, Falck and partner George Stoupe of LSU won three rounds before falling in the championship match to New Zealand's Jack Loutit and Japan's Daisuke Sumizawa, 6-4, 7-5.
 
More importantly, Falck collected eight more ATP points, which should move him up significantly in the ATP world rankings.
