Men's Tennis Rolls Past Dragons, 7-0

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW rolled to its sixth home win of the season on Thursday with a resounding 7-0 win over visiting Drexel at the UNCW Tennis Complex.

UNCW improved to 7-8 while the Dragons slumped to 9-3 with the loss. The victory was also UNCW's sixth straight against its Coastal Athletic Association rivals.

The Seahawks earned the doubles point with Lukas Steffen and William Dean taking a 7-5 decision at number two doubles. The duo improved to 5-0 in that spot in the lineup.

It was all UNCW in singles as the Seahawks posted straight-set wins on five courts.

Alex de Gabriele clinched the match at number two singles, winning 6-3, 6-3 over Josue Guzman.

The Seahawks host DePaul on Mar. 28 at 2 p.m.
