Seahawks Conclude First Fall Appearance

RICHMOND, Virginia – The UNCW women's tennis team went 1-5 in singles on the second and final day of the University of Richmond Invitational on Sunday at the Westhampton Tennis Complex.
 
Coach Hans Olsen's club went 4-4 in doubles and 1-5 in singles in the weekend tourney.
 
Junior Zoe Huffman posted the lone singles victory for the Seahawks on Sunday, outlasting Richmond's Sara Salemyr, 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5).
 
The Seahawks continue their fall schedule on Oct. 8-10, 2021, when they participate in the U.S. Naval Academy Invitational at Annapolis, Md.
