Coach Ho Says …
"We are very excited to be competing again in the fall after such a challenging season last spring. The Kingsmill River Course is a championship venue and has served as the annual host of the LPGA Pure Silk Championship, so it's a great opportunity to kick off our year. I am excited about our team and we look to be competitive in our tournaments.
"After an outstanding summer of tournament golf, we will look to junior
Mallory Fobes and senior
Phu Khine to lead our program. Phu has been one of the best and most consistent players in our conference during her career and we will rely on her leadership on and off the course.
"A pair of international freshmen –
Malu Brinker from Germany and
Anna Wills from England – will be making their debuts with our program and will be joined by redshirt freshman
Deborah Spair, a Raleigh native, in the lineup. We have a great mix of experience and talented new players and we look forward to seeing how we measure up in this first competition."
