WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks make their home debut this weekend when they host James Madison in the Colonial Athletic Association opening series for both programs. The series opens Friday with a 5 p.m. start and concludes the following afternoon with a 1 p.m. first serve.
UNCW dropped a pair of close matches last weekend at Clemson, falling in a sweep in the series opener but rebounding for a five-set setback in the second match of the day.
JMU, meanwhile, split a pair of non-conference matches with Delaware.
Freshman
Kirsten Badowski led the Seahawks on the weekend with 23 kills between the two matches. Joining her in keying the offense was senior setter/outside hitter
Brynn Montgomery, who added 18 kills and 45 assists.
UNCW visits Old Dominion in a midweek non-conference tilt on Mar. 3.
