Seahawks Start Strong In Fall Invite

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW men's tennis team went 6-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles on the opening day of the UNCW Fall Invitational on Friday at the UNCW Courts.

The Seahawks, making their final appearance of the fall season, are joined by Coastal Carolina, Davidson and Mercer in a three-day hidden dual format event. The teams played around scattered showers and gusty winds throughout the day.

Each team is playing singles against one team and doubles against another squad each day.

Play continues on Saturday with doubles action on 10 a.m.
