DURHAM, North Carolina – Newcomer Reece Falk advanced to the semifinals of the men's singles back draw as the UNCW men's tennis team finished its third day of action of the ITA Carolina Regional on Sunday at Duke's Ambler Tennis Stadium.

A transfer from Fresno State, Falck will face North Carolina's Peter Murphy early Monday for a spot in the finals of the singles back draw. Falck and Trey Mallory will also battle UNC Greensboro's Roger Rogowski and Hugh Knapp in the Round of 16 in the doubles consolation bracket.

In other action, sophomore Bekhzod Rasamatov dropped a 6-2, 6-2, score to South Carolina's Jake Beasley in the Round of 16 in the main singles draw.
