WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Thirty-six home games and visits to Southeastern Conference foes Georgia and Auburn highlight the 55-game regular season schedule for the UNCW softball team this spring.
The Seahawks begin the 2020 campaign with a pair of road tournaments, competing at the Red and Black Showcase hosted by Georgia on Feb. 7-9 and the Plainsman Invitational hosted by Auburn on Feb. 14-16.
UNCW begins a month-long home stand with the home opener at Boseman Field on Feb. 21-23. Eastern Kentucky, George Washington and Brown visit the Port City for the Seahawk Softball Classic.
During the lengthy home stint, the Seahawks will stage four tournaments, along with a single game against North Carolina on Mar. 4, a doubleheader against Canisius on Mar. 17 and the first Colonial Athletic Association series of the year vs. Delaware on Mar. 21-22.

Kristy Norton's squad welcomes defending CAA champion James Madison for a three-game CAA set on Mar. 28-29.
The month of April opens with a pair of CAA road series as the Seahawks travel to Drexel on Apr. 4-5 before visiting Hofstra on Apr. 10-11. UNCW returns to Wilmington to close out the month with a seven-game home stand, entertaining Coastal Carolina for a single game on Apr. 14, before a pair of CAA series against Charleston (Apr. 18-19) and Elon (Apr. 25-26).
The regular season concludes on May 1-2 when UNCW heads to Towson for a three-game CAA series against the Tigers.
The CAA Championship, which features a five-team field, will be held at James Madison from May 6-8, with the champion receiving the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
There is no admission to the games and parking is available adjacent to Boseman Field.
