Seahawks Conclude CAA Tuneup

DURHAM, North Carolina – The UNCW track and field teams tuned up for the upcoming Colonial Athletic Association Track & Field Championships by competing in the Duke Invitational over the weekend at Duke's Morris Williams Track & Field Stadium.
 
UNCW's highlights on Saturday included sophomore Evan Jones in the Men's 1,500 Meters (4:00.32), sophomore Nyesha Patillo in the 200 Meters (25.36) and sophomore Makiya Spencer in the 400 Meter Hurdles (1:03.35).
 
The Seahawks now begin their final preparations for the Colonial Athletic Association Track & Field Championships in two weeks on May 3-4, 2019, in Elon, N.C.
