SALEM, S.C. – Blake McShea posted consecutive rounds of two-over-par scores to lead sixth-place UNCW through two rounds of the Clemson Invitational on Friday at the Cliffs of Keowee Falls.

Boston College leads Notre Dame for the team lead after shaving off 11 strokes in the second round. Host Clemson, SMU and UConn round out the top five.

Boston College's Matt Naumec leads the medalist standings and leads teammate Christian Cavaliere entering the third and final round.

McShea is tied for 17th.

The tournament concludes on Saturday, but pairings have not been announced as of the posting of this report.
