Diamond Hawks host Wolfpack on Wednesday night

4/10/2018 6:00:00 PM

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks welcome nationally-ranked NC State to Brooks Field on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. start.

The Wolfpack is ranked as high as fourth nationally in D1Baseball's rankings and carry a 25-6 record into the midweek test.

The Seahawks averted a sweep at the hands of Wofford over the weekend, rallying from a 3-0 deficit on Sunday for a 4-3 win. Jackson Meadows capped the come-from-behind victory with a game-winning single in the bottom of the ninth. It was UNCW's sixth win in its final at bat.

UNCW returns to Colonial Athletic Association play this weekend when it visits defending champion Delaware for three games beginning on Friday.
