WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW swept past Missouri Baptist and Carson-Newman on Friday by identical scores of 5-0 at the Dig & Dive Invitational.

UNCW, which also dropped a 4-1 decision to 20th-ranked College of Charleston, enter Saturday's action with a record of 12-8.

Seahawks Maddy Kline and Nicole Lott went 2-0 on the day with a pair of two-set wins. The pairing cruised to a 21-10, 21-12 win against CNU and later posted UNCW's lone win against CofC when they won, 22-20 and 21-16. The pair owns a record of 13-6 on the season.

Lott was the only Seahawk to compile a 3-0 mark on Friday after teaming with JM Lewandowski for a win in UNCW's sweep of Missouri Baptist.

The tournament concludes on Saturday with the Seahawks taking on North Florida at 2:30 p.m.
