WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW's beach volleyball program hosts the third annual Dig & Dive Invitational this weekend as they host five teams beginning on Friday at 8:30 a.m.

The Seahawks (10-7) open their tournament appearance with an 11:30 a.m. on Friday against Carson-Newman. UNCW will also play 20th-ranked College of Charleston (3 p.m.) and Missouri Baptist (6 p.m.) on Friday.

UNCW's top pairing of graduate student Nicole Lott and junior Maddy Kline went 3-1 last weekend to improve to 11-6 on the season. All 17 results have been in the number one spot in the lineup.

Next weekend, UNCW competes in the Seminole Beach Battle in Tallahassee, Fla., on Apr. 6-7. It will be the Seahawks final tuneup before the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association championship on Apr. 20-22, in Cartersville, Ga.
