WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW hosts rival Coastal Carolina in a beach volleyball doubleheader on Wednesday at Dig and Dive. Match times are set for 2 and 4 p.m.

The Seahawks enter the twinbill with a 6-5 record after posting a 3-2 mark last weekend at the Hickory Point Lake Bash in Tavares, Fla.

Wednesday will be Coastal Carolina's first duals of the season.

Last season, the Seahawks swept the visiting Chanticleers by identical scores of 4-1.

Wednesday's matches are the first of two home events this season for the Seahawks, who will host Carson-Newman, College of Charleston, Missouri Baptist and North Florida later this month (Mar. 30-31) in a tournament at Dig & Dive.

This weekend, UNCW heads to Columbia, S.C., for the Gamecock Grand Slam for matches against Hawaii, UAB, Florida Gulf Coast and TCU. The tournament opens on Mar. 24 against the Rainbow Wahine of Hawaii.
