Volleyball Takes Over NCAA Instagram Account

The Seahawks will take fans inside their day as the prepare to host Towson Monday

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW volleyball players will have the opportunity to take over the NCAA's volleyball Instagram account on October 29 (Monday) and give fans an inside look on what they'll be doing on match day as they prepare to host Towson at 7 p.m.

The Seahawks are the latest of several programs, nationwide, to tell their story on @NCAAVolleyball.

Senior Michaela White, junior Madison Peters, sophomore Kyla Augustine and freshman Baylor Bumford will represent the Seahawks on Monday.

UNCW has had several takeovers by the players of its own Instagram account (@seahawkvb), but Oct. 29 will be the first time for the program to participate in the NCAA's social media program.

The Seahawks, who knocked off Colonial Athletic Association leader James Madison on Oct. 27, welcomes Towson to Hanover Hall on Monday in a key conference match for both teams. UNCW enters the match in fifth-place and leads the Tigers by a win.

The match will be streamed on the Seahawk Digital Network.
