WILMINGTON, North Carolina - UNCWSports.com takes a closer look inside the numbers from the Seahawks' 68-42 Colonial Athletic Association loss at Drexel on Sunday afternoon.
JUST THE FACTS: UNCW dropped its sixth consecutive contest on Sunday with a 68-42 setback at Drexel inside the Daskalakis Athletic Center.

TOUGH DAY AT THE OFFICE: The Seahawks were limited to just 42 points in the loss against Drexel, marking the team's second-lowest output this season. UNCW was held to just 41 points on Nov. 18 in a loss at Coastal Carolina.

BOARD MEETING: The Seahawks outrebounded Drexel by a 41-29 margin on Sunday, marking the sixth time in the last eight games they have held the advantage on the boards. UNCW has outrebounded an opponent by 10 or more rebounds three times this season.

SINGLED OUT: For the first time this season, UNCW was held without a player who scored in double figures. UNCW had multiple players reach double figures in 14-of 16 games prior to Sunday's loss.

APPROACH THE BENCH: Led by junior center Chinyere Bell's nine points, UNCW's bench accounted for 25 of the team's 42 points on Sunday. UNCW has recorded 25 or more bench points in six games this season, including four contests with 30 or more points.

EIGHT IS GREAT: Junior center Chinyere Bell led UNCW with eight rebounds on Sunday, marking her third consecutive outing with eight or more rebounds. In nine games since becoming eligible after transferring from George Mason, the Fayetteville, N.C., product is averaging 5.9 caroms per game.

ODDS AND ENDS: The Seahawks wore their teal uniforms for the fifth time this season … UNCW used the same starting lineup for the third consecutive game … Sophomore guard Timber Tate scored the Seahawks' first points with a three-pointer at the 8:13 mark of the first quarter, giving UNCW its only lead of the game … Senior guard Madison Raque was the Seahawks' first substitute of the game … Drexel became the second team to shoot 50.0 percent or better from the field against UNCW this year.

UP NEXT: UNCW begins a two-game CAA homestand on Friday, Jan. 19, by welcoming Delaware to Trask Coliseum for a 7 p.m. contest.
