WILMINGTON, North Carolina – After winning four of five games last weekend at the Lafayette Ford Lincoln of Fayetteville Showcase, the UNCW softball team continues its 16-game homestand on Wednesday evening by hosting Campbell for a single game at 6 p.m.

UNCW faculty and staff along with their immediate family members can get free admission to the contest by presenting their One Card as part of Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day.
In addition, the UNCW Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be holding a canned food drive at Boseman Field at all four of this week's softball games.
The Seahawks enter this week's play with a 17-6-1 record, including a 12-3 mark at home, following a strong performance at last weekend's tournament.
Sophomore
Kali Jones paced the UNCW offense by hitting .571 with eight hits, including a pair of doubles and a triple, along with scoring eight runs.

- The Seahawks hit .336 as a team last weekend with 14 extra-base hits, including six home runs.
- Senior Merritt Wilkinson and sophomore Rachel Willis begin this week's action as the Colonial Athletic Association co-leaders with 24 runs scored. Willis is also leading the CAA with seven doubles.
- Sophomore Anna Hessenthaler became the eighth different Seahawk to hit a home run this season when she blasted a solo shot in the win over Georgetown on Sunday.
- UNCW recorded a season-high 15 hits in its victory over UMass Lowell on Saturday, marking the fifth time this year the Seahawks have recorded 10 or more hits in a game.
- UNCW and Campbell will be meeting for the 78th time on Wednesday. Campbell leads the all-time series, 53-24, but the teams split a pair of games last year in Buies Creek.
