WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW freshman pitcher Camille Hamilton has been named to the Freshman All-Americans Second Team as announced by D1 Softball on Thursday morning.

Hamilton adds the honor to a long list of awards this spring following one of the best debut seasons in the country in 2026. The Garner. N.C., native is one of two CAA players to earn Freshman All-American recognition.

The 5-9 right-hander was also named Coastal Athletic Association Pitcher and Rookie of the Year, to the CAA All-First Team, NFCA All-Region Third Team and Freshman of the Year Top 25 list this season.

Hamilton went 15-6 with a 2.16 ERA across 113.1 innings, including the first perfect game in Seahawk softball history. The right-hander went 11-3 with four complete games and a 1.34 ERA in CAA play.
