After opening the season with a 7-3 record, the Pride has dropped 12 of its last 15 games and brings a 10-15 overall record with a 3-11 mark in CAA play into Sunday's contest. Hofstra has been idle since dropping a 72-61 verdict against Elon on Thursday night.

The Pride is led by junior forward Ashunae Durant, who is the lone player in the CAA averaging a double-double this season. She ranks among the CAA leaders by scoring 16.4 points per game while grabbing 11.2 rebounds per contest after a 14-point, 8-rebound performance at Elon.

Senior guard Krystal Luciano is adding 11.0 points per game for the Pride and leads the CAA with 152 assists in 25 games, a 6.1 average.

UNCW and Hofstra will be meeting for the 32nd time in a series the Pride leads by a 17-14 margin. The Seahawks ended a two-game losing streak to Hofstra on Jan. 20 with a 56-54 overtime victory.

After Sunday's matinee, the Seahawks will play two of their final three regular season games on the road, including a contest at William & Mary on Friday night at 7 p.m.
