CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina – Led by sophomore
Blake McShea, UNCW had three golfers shoot 69 or better in the second round to lift the Seahawks into seventh place after 36 holes at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate on Saturday.

Host and 32nd-ranked North Carolina holds a seven-stroke lead over 41st-ranked Jacksonville for the tournament lead. Campbell is third followed by Virginia Tech and Coastal Carolina to round out the top five.
UNC's Ben Griffin leads the tournament field by two strokes over Campbell's Jesper Svensson. McShea is tied for seventh at six-under.
McShea carded a second-round five-under-67, a season-best, to move into the top 10. Joining him were
Thomas Eldridge, also at 67, and
Pat Cover at 69.
UNCW sophomore
Christian Park, who is competing as an individual, posted a career-low 70 in the first round.
The tournament concludes on Sunday with 18 holes. UNCW tees off the final round at 8:30 a.m. alongside UNCG and Maryland.
